Currently, immigration is stereotyped in Belgium. The media tend to caricature and demonize it. However, immigration is not a problem but rather a solution for Europe. According to figures issued by the European Commission in 2007, between now and 2050 Europe will need 56 million migrant workers to meet the needs of the economy.
