How to make an appointment?

  2. Make an appointment with the secretary’s office or via the website

Document summary: The cost of the first consultation is between 125€ and 250€ depending on the type of procedure or its complexity (more details here). This fee is deductible if you subsequently open a file with the firm. The procedure can be determined on the basis of the questionnaire sent. During this consultation, we will inform you of the remaining fee, which will be divided into 3 provisions based on the different phases of progress, the last one based on a “success fee” (more details here).

Our advice: It is important to fill in the appointment questionnaire properly in order for us to give you the best advice during your first appointment.

Fill in the online questionnaire

In order to set up an appointment and to prepare for the interview, we kindly ask you to provide us with additional information by answering this questionnaire.

Once the questionnaire is completed, you can choose to set up an appointment via the secretary’s office (you will see the phone number to contact us) or via the website.

Set up the appointment via the secretary’s office or via the website

You can make an appointment in 2 ways once you have completed the questionnaire in step 1:

  • Via the secretary’s office at +32(2).503.12.17
    (amount of the consultation to be paid at the office on the day of your appointment)
  • Via the website by clicking here
    (amount of the consultation to be paid online via credit card)

Choose the type of appointment

You can choose from 2 appointment types:

  • At the Office
  • Remotely by video call where you will receive a Google Meet link (in this case, the consultation must be paid in advance on our bank account) *

*instructions will be sent to you in the confirmation email you will receive after booking the appointment

 

 


 

Important!

The rate

The amount of the first consultation is between 125€ and 250€ depending on the procedure:

Family law (45 minutes) – 250 euros
Immigration law (30 minutes) – 250 euros
Economic migration : single permit, annuitant visa, professional card, change of status, student residence or visa, family reunification – 250 euros
Application for humanitarian or medical regularization, asylum … – 125 euros
For other immigration law cases, depending on the questionnaire and the complexity of the procedure – 125 or 250 euros, defined when making an appointment with the secretary’s office

This rate includes:

Before the consultation:
Preparation of the consultation by your lawyer, based on the completed questionnaire and analysis of your file based on the documents you will have previously sent if necessary (to be sent after the appointment is set up at secretariat@avocat-halabi.com).

During the consultation:
Consultation and note taking
Analysis of your situation based on the questions asked during the interview in order to determine the best strategy and the option(s) available to you
Presentation of the option(s) (conditions, duration of the procedure, estimated chances of success, fees…)

After the consultation:
Sending a thank you email with the consultation note and a summary of the options + fee details and instructions to open a case with our firm.

If you decide to open a file with our lawyer, this amount will be deducted from the first retainer if this retainer is paid within a maximum of 48 hours after the first interview.

Then, during this consultation, we will inform you of the remaining fee, which will be divided into 3 provisions based on the different phases of progress, the last one based on a “success fee”.

 

The questionnaire

In order to set up an appointment and prepare for the interview, we ask you to provide us with additional information by answering this questionnaire.

We ask you to fill in the questionnaire as soon as possible so that we can propose a day and time for an appointment with one of our specialized lawyers in the field for which you are consulting us.

Please fill in the questionnaire, making sure to explain your problem as precisely as possible.

Once the questionnaire is completed, you can choose to set up the appointment via the secretary’s office (you will see the phone number to contact us) or via the website.

We also request you to send us a copy of the decisions you received or any relevant documents, either for the ongoing procedure or for previous procedures. Please send them directly to us by email at secretariat@avocat-halabi.com, mentioning “request for an appointment + your full name” in the subject line.

All information exchanged will remain confidential, our lawyers being subject to professional secrecy.
